Artwork Description

Chromatic Fold explores the tension between movement and containment through intersecting arcs, folds and suspended forms. Layers of saturated crimson, orange, violet and yellow press against cooler passages of pale blue and white, creating a shifting sense of depth and compression. The work balances soft transitions with sharper structural edges, suggesting fragments of landscape, fabric, vessel or anatomy without settling into a fixed interpretation.
The textured surface allows the colour to breathe through the weave, giving the painting both luminosity and tactility. The composition invites the eye to travel between the curved forms and negative spaces, creating a quiet rhythm between expansion and restraint.
This painting works particularly well in contemporary interiors where strong colour can activate a neutral or softly lit space.
