Artist Bio

A versatile painter of both colourful still lifes and dreamy abstracts, my work aims to tell a story and transform your space into a beautiful sanctuary where you'll draw inspiration and life from everyday.

Working mostly in acrylics, my inspiration comes from life, loves, music, movies and popular culture...even a simple conversation. I aim to capture little moments in the everyday, and elevate them to be something more magical, for the small things really are the big things! The distinct, intricate, smooth detail work and brushstrokes are a hallmark of my work, and serve as a form of meditation, through repetition and extreme focus to calm my anxious mind.

For as long as I can remember art and painting has been my one true love, seeing me through very hard times while remaining a true and enduring friend. I owe to it a lot, and I see this practice as both therapy and storytelling simultaneously. Sometimes you can't even describe why you like a certain artwork, you're just drawn to it and it makes you feel something, whatever that may be. Art is deeply personal and is to be enjoyed by everyone, for without it, life would be pretty damn miserable.

After a major cancer health scare in 2019 at 31 yrs of age, I was able to really reconnect with my life long love affair with painting and design and then went on to start my own creative business in 2020. I think my perspective on life changed a little, I didn't want to just exist anymore, I wanted to change the direction of my life and pursue my creative dreams. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my work, it's a privilege to see my art in other people's homes and I definitely don't take it for granted.
