This work is inspired by my experienced in coconut production back in the Philippines. There is a seasonal time for coconut harvest. I remember my grandmother telling us how she and father planted coconuts and after 15 years it can finally can produce every 3months.
I used to collect it with my brother and sell it to my grandmother, she always gave us good price.
During harvest we need someone to climb the coconut, then to clean it and remove its flesh, then someone to cook its white flesh for it to become a โkopraโ the color should turn dark brown.. They said it can be converted to oil for cooking, to shampoo, soap and so on.
It was fun memories and precious one. I am blessed to experience it.
