The Hermit

“The hermit”. He’s not alone as I thought he is. He said to me -“I have a lot of company my friend. Nobody is really alone, there is nature all around us. When we look up, we see the stars, the skies, youre even lucky to see an eagle, when we look to our left or our right, there might be someone or something. No one can be truly on their own unless nature doesn’t exist but it is around us, now please leave me be, I have some company.”

Born and raised in the small town of Lanao del Norte in the Philippines,Mon was influenced by the beauty of the countryside and its rich culture. Mon developed a love for fishing at a young age, and this passion can be seen in his paintings, which feature abstract and intuitive use of acrylics.
Mon began painting as a hobby, but soon discovered a talent for creating art that is both soothing and inspiring.

In addition to his art career, Mon also works as a Clinical Manager, using his creativity and problem-solving skills to help others. On the weekends, he enjoys spending time with his children, teaching them the joy of painting and creating art together.

He wrote and published a children’s book called Let’s learn ABSea available in Amazon.

Mon is a dedicated artist and a loving husband and father of three girls.
