Electric Cocktail

This artwork transforms a cocktail glass into a vessel of pure energy — overflowing with fruit, sparks, and bursts of colour that leap beyond its rim. The explosion of neon hues and graffiti-inspired strokes captures the rhythm of nightlife, music, and the pulse of celebration, where chaos and harmony collide.

Amidst the lime, berries, and mint floats an unexpected element — the 8 ball. A symbol of chance, fate, and mystery, it reminds us that life, like a cocktail, is a mix of choice and unpredictability. The 8 ball anchors the work in a playful tension between control and randomness, suggesting that every sip, every moment, carries the possibility of surprise.

By combining the ordinary with the extraordinary, the work invites viewers to see life’s rituals — a drink, a night out, a decision left to chance — as moments charged with vibrancy, risk, and the magic of possibility.

“My artwork is a bold fusion of playfulness and urban edge. I draw inspiration from everyday objects and moments of joy, transforming them with vibrant neon colour palettes, graffiti drips, and explosive textures that shimmer with glitter, sparkles, and metallic hues.
Each piece is designed to feel alive — as though the paint is still wet and bursting off the canvas. I thrive on creating work that is both fun and contemporary, merging street-art energy with a polished, glowing finish.
At the heart of my practice is a desire to capture wonder and excitement, whether through a glowing rubber duck, a burst of dripping colour, or a mural that radiates positivity. My style is unapologetically bold, immersive, and made to leave a lasting impact.”
Growing up on the Central Coast in Wamberal, she now calls Lake Macquarie home, where she lives with her husband and three kids. Terese's artistic journey began in childhood, doodling everything from Looney Tunes to coastal landscapes. With experience in various mediums—thanks to GATS camps and art classes—she even dabbled in tattooing in her twenties. Inspired by her outdoor adventures, her art bursts with color and life. “I use anything that makes a mark,” she says, believing that variety fuels creativity. Her work is a reflection of her unique vision, aiming to inspire and captivate anyone who sees it.
