Artwork Description

This artwork features iconic characters Scrooge McDuck and Milburn Moneybags, both of whom are synonymous with wealth and ambition. They are depicted in a scene where they are counting and inspecting coins and bundles of money on a table, surrounded by the abundant imagery of wealth.

The use of Posca pens and Polychromos pencils offers vibrant colors and intricate details, creating a visually dynamic representation of the characters' expressions and the coins they handle. The addition of gold leaf enhances this visual richness, providing a luxurious background that symbolizes the allure of wealth.

Watercolor techniques contribute to the overall glow and sparkle of the scene, giving the coins an almost magical quality. This shimmering effect invites viewers to consider not just the physical aspect of money, but also its emotional resonance. The artwork encapsulates the excitement and complexity surrounding the pursuit of wealth, provoking a deeper contemplation of what prosperity truly means.

Overall, this illustration serves as a playful yet thought-provoking commentary on the nature of finance and desire, inviting audiences to engage with the themes of wealth and ambition on both a personal and societal level.
This piece invites viewers to reflect on their own relationship with money, ambition, and the pursuit of happiness in a world often defined by material value.

Artist Bio

“My artwork is a bold fusion of playfulness and urban edge. I draw inspiration from everyday objects and moments of joy, transforming them with vibrant neon colour palettes, graffiti drips, and explosive textures that shimmer with glitter, sparkles, and metallic hues.
Each piece is designed to feel alive — as though the paint is still wet and bursting off the canvas. I thrive on creating work that is both fun and contemporary, merging street-art energy with a polished, glowing finish.
At the heart of my practice is a desire to capture wonder and excitement, whether through a glowing rubber duck, a burst of dripping colour, or a mural that radiates positivity. My style is unapologetically bold, immersive, and made to leave a lasting impact.”
Growing up on the Central Coast in Wamberal, she now calls Lake Macquarie home, where she lives with her husband and three kids. With experience in various mediums—thanks to GATS camps and art classes—she even dabbled in tattooing in her twenties. Inspired by her outdoor adventures, her art bursts with color and life. “I use anything that makes a mark,” she says, believing that variety fuels creativity. Her work is a reflection of her unique vision, aiming to inspire and captivate anyone who sees it.
