Artwork Description

Mixed media- watercolour , posca pens with polychromo pencils on illustration paper protected with fixative spray.

My portfolio offers a diverse collection of artworks, each accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. I utilize high-quality professional pencils, acrylics, and paper in all my creations, ensuring that the vividness of the artwork endures over time

The central figure is Sonic, depicted in his classic blue form with his signature quills, green eyes, and red and white shoes. He is shown in a mid-action pose, suggesting movement and speed, which is characteristic of the character.
The background features elements reminiscent of the Green Hill Zone and similar iconic levels from the Sonic games.: The use of bright, contrasting colours, particularly the vivid pink palm trees and the warm orange and yellow tones of the sunset, creates a striking visual impact and evokes the energetic feel of the Sonic franchise.

Artist Bio

“My artwork is a bold fusion of playfulness and urban edge. I draw inspiration from everyday objects and moments of joy, transforming them with vibrant neon colour palettes, graffiti drips, and explosive textures that shimmer with glitter, sparkles, and metallic hues.
Each piece is designed to feel alive — as though the paint is still wet and bursting off the canvas. I thrive on creating work that is both fun and contemporary, merging street-art energy with a polished, glowing finish.
At the heart of my practice is a desire to capture wonder and excitement, whether through a glowing rubber duck, a burst of dripping colour, or a mural that radiates positivity. My style is unapologetically bold, immersive, and made to leave a lasting impact.”
Growing up on the Central Coast in Wamberal, she now calls Lake Macquarie home, where she lives with her husband and three kids. Terese's artistic journey began in childhood, doodling everything from Looney Tunes to coastal landscapes. With experience in various mediums—thanks to GATS camps and art classes—she even dabbled in tattooing in her twenties. Inspired by her outdoor adventures, her art bursts with color and life. “I use anything that makes a mark,” she says, believing that variety fuels creativity. Her work is a reflection of her unique vision, aiming to inspire and captivate anyone who sees it.
“I, Terese Hudson acknowledges the Traditional Owners and custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognises their continuing connection to the land, waters and skies, often expressed through art. We pay our respects to artists, Elders and community members past, present and future.“
