As a lifelong artist, I bring a wealth of experience and training to my prolific body of work. Art is my vehicle for expressing everything. It is a visual diary - I live life through art and not the other way around. I always have a paintbrush or pencil, (or a camera), nearby. I am often playful, sometimes serious. I think deeply about life and, often unintentionally, my heart shows in my work.
In the 90's I got stuck making only one kind of art - Abstract Expressionism. I exhausted what was possible for me, and then my output dried up, so I am now mindful to keep experimenting, expanding, growing, researching and forever searching for new subject matter and the techniques to make it happen.
I am in my 10th year of formal art education, and while I do not 'need' to train more, I find it is keeping me involved and motivated. I am learning about contemporary art.
