Thank you for visiting my page.
I started painting as a way to deal with the daily anguish caused by the untimely death of my 24 year old daughter.
Painting has given me a new lease of on life...allowed me to lose myself and a way not to stop me reliving the awful day she was taken from us.
Art has been my saviour.
I am totally self taught. Who knew??
I paint in acrylics, oil, watercolour and resin. I particularly love adding texture to my works. I love it so much because unfortunately my husband gone blind over the last 14 years.
It’s wonderful that he can 'feel' my work....if not see it.
I live in Western Australia near Fremantle.
I’m inspired by bold colour particularly in plants and flowers.
I think that my 40 years as a Registered Nurse has given me an eye for detail.
In 2020 I was thrilled to be accepted to show three of my paintings at The Fibonacci Centre.
This year, I was so privileged to have a painting accepted to exhibit at The Annual Rockingham Art Exhibition; one of only 79 selected.
And I also was selected to show two paintings at the Beverley Art Exhibition.
