The aim in this piece is to represent the shared characteristics of ocean and equine, as experienced at the edge of sea and shore on a balmy January morning at Tea Tree Bay within the Noosa National Park in Queensland, Australia. The equine muse is Effie, an especially competitive and revered mare with the qualities of elegance, athleticism, natural beauty, and lightness of spirit.
