Secrets of the Universe

The secrets of the universe are held in the locked chest circled by the knowing birds. The key to unlock the chest and its secrets is education.
Ideas drawn from some early works by Francesco Clemente. The idealised clouds are typical of his Indian inspired works and the chest is based a work in his NYC home.

Self taught artist with a broad range of influences and interests. To maintain longevity of interest in an artwork I believe that it needs to have elements of whimsy, spontaneity and unconventional interpretation. I am trying to reflects these aspirations in my art.
