I walk
an empty road
the echos of my footsteps
overflow
out into the waste-
land
that spans
from hope to
el Paso
and from what I've heard
of ghosts
and ghouls
it would be complete
doom and gloom
if I caught what spreads
from the walking dead
to the living
but instead
I've found
that certain sounds
can slow down
the rate of atrophy
and so
on we go
my dancing zombie friends and me
boombox in hand
blasting bsp
existential jams
for the lonely damned
