These original acrylic on canvas pieces were intuitively painted and is part of a series called ‘Inverse’. This series was created whilst in residence at Westfield Marion Shopping Centre as part of a project called ‘Art Story’. I have used a reverse painting technique where a colourful abstract / patterned background is painted and then a design in one colour is painted over the top. This series features organic shapes resembling plants.
