Artwork Description

This original painting is part of my Flower Therapy Collection.
Created with a palette knife and thick acrylic layers, this small 20 x 20 cm artwork captures the raw energy of a wild garden in motion. Deep textured greens surround vibrant red and burgundy blooms, creating a sense of growth, freedom and emotional intensity.
Heavy impasto technique gives the surface rich dimension. The painting changes with light throughout the day, revealing layered colour transitions and expressive strokes.

Artist Bio

Tetiana Bocharova is a Ukrainian-born contemporary artist based in Australia, working under the artistic name Tayna Woda.
Tayna Woda is not a direct translation, but a symbolic name reflecting intuition, emotional depth and inner flow — like water that can be gentle, grounding and quietly powerful.
Her work is inspired by nature, human emotion and inner landscapes. Through textured surfaces, layered colour and intuitive mark-making, she explores themes of calm, balance, warmth and emotional connection. Her paintings are created not only as visual pieces, but as works that bring a sense of comfort, stillness and quiet strength into a space.
Tetiana primarily works with acrylic paints using expressive impasto techniques, and occasionally incorporates oil paint. She paints on wood panels prepared with textured acrylic paste, allowing movement and texture to become a language of feeling.
In 2017, she held a solo exhibition in Kyiv, Ukraine. Her work is signed as Tayna Woda and each artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity.
