Painting is a visual art. Thais chooses visual contact, represented by eyes and it's communication as her main subject.
Her passage through dramatic arts (since she was 12) give power to expressions, both in the eyes she paints and the abstract forms, powered with feelings that come from the inside of a women pathing her way in a foreign country.
Her works flows between eyes, portraits, nature's and multicultural elements.
The colors are from a world where city and nature are side by side in her life, a world she grow part in a big city and part in an island in Brazil, a world she travel between her homeland and the place she chosen to be home today, Australia. A world she looks with renewed eyes everyday. The eyes of a true artist.β
Whenever she is working on a small art craft or a huge canvas, acting on stage or modelling, Thais puts her soul into it. Blessing us around.

"I knew that creating art was the bigger part of self care and healing for myself, when I distanced myself from it during a period of time, I felt that my inner light was blurring. At that moment I realized how creating art can change my perspective entirely.
I discovered art early in my life, and naturaly the transformations came while living new experiences.
When I'm creating I always lose a track of time, I feel absorbed by the world I create which comes with this powerful freedom. Making art works for me as a tool for undertanding myself, understanding the world and life more deep and compassionate."
