This painting celebrates the beauty and the achievement that comes after taking on daring tasks or difficult challenges, pushing yourself to the limit and wading through difficult waters, just as you need to have faith in yourself and your ability to take the plunge into the deep waters to look at the coral reefs. Its not an easy thing at all but to find a hidden beauty and wisdom through challenges is a commendable feat indeed.

I am Ayesha Bakhtawar Saad. Born and raised in Pakistan, I moved to Saudi Arabia after marriage and lived there for 5 years before immigrating to Australia in 2017. Each of the places I have lived have a special place in my heart and have helped me grow up to be who I am today. An architect/interior designer by profession I worked in my field in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia before coming to Australia and choosing to be stay a home mom till kids joined school. Bouncing back into the same field after a long career break and no local experience proved to be a distant dream and I have henceforth found enjoyment and passion in art. I see it as an extension of interiors and interior décor since art and textures and use of color sum up the interior spaces to a major extent. My style of art reflects my mood: the calm and peace at times and excitement and passion the other with hints of frustration and turmoil and sometimes utter bliss. I love to add texture and movement to my art work. Art transcends borders and helps me feel connected to the creative world bridging all gaps and helping us bring us closer. I am very excited to see how my journey goes.
