Thea is a 13 year old, Brisbane based artist and author. She is homeschooled due to her dyslexia. Thea uses creative strengths to invent stories and characters that express her interest in the natural world. She uses ink, pen and watercolour in her illustrations. In 2020 she was a finalist for the Young Archie and received a Highly Commended for the Holmes Junior Art Prize for Realistic Bird Art. Thea hopes to be an author/illustrator and an ecologist...one day.
