I took inspiration of the Italian wooden toy Pinnochio. I wanted to co-play on the history and symbolism of the true story . Adding strings to the artwork represents a extra extension on how the toy is also a puppet. bound by strings but yet wanting to become something real. Always being held and controlled due it having non soul. But some can say this has a deeper meaning within society?
