"Forever Chasing" is a visual meditation on movement, ambition, and the delicate balance between pursuit and presence. This large-scale abstract landscape, inspired by the raw textures of old graffiti walls, merges the energy of layered colour with the serenity of soft pastels, creating a piece that is both bold and gentle.
Layers of paint echo the endless chase—the restless pursuit of dreams, expectations, and the pressures we place upon ourselves. The composition hums with a quiet urgency, yet its pastel tones and fluid transitions invite stillness, reminding us to pause, to breathe, to see beyond the chase. Up close, intricate details emerge, revealing moments of tension and release, much like the ebb and flow of our own emotions. Yet, when viewed from a distance, the piece finds harmony, reflecting the clarity that comes when we step back and truly take in our surroundings.
"Forever Chasing" is a reminder that while ambition fuels us, peace is found in the present. It is a soft yet powerful embrace—an artwork that speaks not just to the spaces it inhabits, but to the hearts of those who stand before it.

Original Artwork's Description
Artist Bio
Tom is an Adelaide based artist. Born in 1994, he always had the passion for creativity and self-expression. Tom would often not follow a process when creating, but preferred using his own vision. He enjoyed the freedom to experiment and create with his ideas.
In school Tom could be found doodling in the back of books before moving into graffiti art during his teenage years. He then stepped away from art for a few years allowing his vision to be renewed. Throughout the last decade, Tom progressed his art by experimenting with colours, layers, textures and styles, continuing to follow his innate, creative passion. This experimentation has led Tom to today where he enjoys creating abstract artworks which draw on inspiration from various places.
Whilst Tom continues to experiment and evolve his artwork, his main inspiration is based on old exposed brick, building layers and texture into his vision. His other inspiration stems from his instinctive creative nature, with each piece expressing a unique emotion.
