Tia moved to the Macedon shire at 8 years old leaving the city behind. She has a deep passion for drawing and animals, which she incorporates into her current work. Tia attended Alice Miller, an arts-based secondary school founded by John Marsden. While originally studying veterinary science at university, she has since returned to being a full-time artist. Tia has been selling her artwork commercially since late 2016, through galleries, interior design stores, and her own studio and now teaches painting classes. She focuses on creating art that reflects compassion for animals, making it accessible to a wide audience and suited to modern and country decor. Tia explores a multitude of mediums as she develops her own style.
