Artwork Description

A perfectly beautiful winter day with the vast “Big Blue” South Pacific Ocean.
I love the unexpected — where long camera exposure turns movement into stillness, building images with serene, contemplative energy. Each step carries its own surprise, a quiet gift revealed through my lens and time.
The Photograph is produced with the traditional Fujifilm Crystal Archive photographic process with light exposing the photographic paper to create a beautifully saturated colours and sharpness in the print. the longevity go these prints are at least 100 years if it is kept away from direct sunlight .

Artist Bio

About the Photographer

Tim was introduced to photography at the age of ten by his mother, who brought him his first camera from a business trip to Russia. He often says, “I remember always having a camera in my hand since I was a child.”
His love and passion for photography led him to refine his skills through formal study, completing a diploma at the Art and Photography Institute of Budapest, Hungary.
After some soul-searching, Tim eventually settled in Australia, where he continued his career as a professional photographer.

The greatest influence on his work, however, came from his encounter with Australia’s breathtaking natural landscapes. He fell in love with their invisible energy — the way they connect people, animals, and all living things through dazzling displays of ancient landforms, rolling seas, and ever-curving skies.

Tim often says, “I don’t just take pictures — I strive to capture the soul of this land in my images.”

He frequently uses long exposure techniques to create ethereal effects: flowing waters, soft skies, and dreamlike light that reveal unexpected beauty.
The final photographs are contemplative and soulful — works of quiet beauty that invite reflection and emotional connection.

"I dedicate this collection of images as a tribute to our extraordinary land that stretches to every corner of the horizon, and as a homage to the Custodians — the People of the First Nations — for “walking so lightly” upon it."
