Artwork Description

Another perfectly beautiful winter day with a wide, glowing view to the east. From Burleigh Heads National Park, the horizon stretches endlessly, shimmering in soft light. People delight in the rare, gentle calm that only winter brings. The image’s serene and dreamy beauty creates a peaceful, uplifting atmosphere in any homes and living rooms. I was fortunate to capture three adventurous creatures gliding gracefully and effortlessly across my view.
The photograph is created through a traditional process, with light delicately exposing Fujifilm Crystal Archive paper to reveal rich, saturated colors and crisp detail. When kept away from direct sunlight, the print will endure with timeless beauty for more than 100 years.

Artist Bio

About the Photographer

Tim was introduced to photography at the age of ten by his mother, who brought him his first camera from a business trip to Russia. He often says, “I remember always having a camera in my hand since I was a child.”
His love and passion for photography led him to refine his skills through formal study, completing a diploma at the Art and Photography Institute of Budapest, Hungary.
After some soul-searching, Tim eventually settled in Australia, where he continued his career as a professional photographer.

The greatest influence on his work, however, came from his encounter with Australia’s breathtaking natural landscapes. He fell in love with their invisible energy — the way they connect people, animals, and all living things through dazzling displays of ancient landforms, rolling seas, and ever-curving skies.

Tim often says, “I don’t just take pictures — I strive to capture the soul of this land in my images.”

He frequently uses long exposure techniques to create ethereal effects: flowing waters, soft skies, and dreamlike light that reveal unexpected beauty.
The final photographs are contemplative and soulful — works of quiet beauty that invite reflection and emotional connection.

"I dedicate this collection of images as a tribute to our extraordinary land that stretches to every corner of the horizon, and as a homage to the Custodians — the People of the First Nations — for “walking so lightly” upon it."
