Depth. Detail. Gold and hot pink. What more do you need?

Let this brilliant painting sparkle into any space. The earthy copper, fused with gold and black make for a stunning piece as the splash of white nearly lifts from the image. The muted colour tones will find any wall suitable for it’s presence. It would be cruel not to mention the touch of hot pink, lurking in the detail.

The detail is what fascinates me with this art work. I keep discovering new formations in the paint work. Being created as a challenge to myself, to prove that beauty can be found in even the most GROUNDED colour pallets.

My name is Tim Hodgman.

I am an artist from Queensland and have been performing some artistic task since I can remember. I started my work life as a forklift driver with not much future ahead of me, however; I refused to let it get the best of me and pursued the craft that has driven most of my life. From there, my artistic background has mostly been working in film, which is a career that has made me fortunate enough to travel globally.
I have now - being vastly inspired - transformed all the artistic practice I have learned and invested into my painting. This is art that speaks to me and I would hope that it speaks to you as well.
