An array of selective colours, this is a real conversational piece. Allow yourself to view this from a far, only to be drawn in by it’s elusive depth.

Do you like Bladerunner (the movie)? I sure do. So much in fact I was inspired to create this artwork. However, what I love about this painting is that it stands to have a deeper meaning than simply a ‘movie tribute’. Please don’t hesitate to let me know what it means to you! Specifically to me, it stands as a capsule of one of my favorite lines, “I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. All those moments will be lost in time, like TEARS in the rain.”

My name is Tim Hodgman.

I am an artist from Queensland and have been performing some artistic task since I can remember. I started my work life as a forklift driver with not much future ahead of me, however; I refused to let it get the best of me and pursued the craft that has driven most of my life. From there, my artistic background has mostly been working in film, which is a career that has made me fortunate enough to travel globally.
I have now - being vastly inspired - transformed all the artistic practice I have learned and invested into my painting. This is art that speaks to me and I would hope that it speaks to you as well.
