Blue winged Kookaburra. Ed. 1 of 20

I'm a bird photographer and every now and then I like to use them in my composites, I love the blue winged kookaburras (only found in the northern parts of Australia) I try to capture that old school Aussie outback feel with a hint of surrealism.

Hi, having a creative mind but not too good with the paint or brush can be quite frustrating so I came up with a idea of "painting with my photos" .
Once again like so many stories over covid I thought lets make the most of a situation.
So using the time I had I opened photoshop for the first time almost two years ago and started playing around with the tools in PS and with youtube as my university I slowly started creating what I envisioned.
Spending most of my time travelling up and down the WA coast from Bridgetown to Broome every season of every year I took many photos along the way and started adding them to my composites creating surreal outback WA feel.
