'It's all a Blur' follows a theme that's been flowing through many of my recent paintings, that of finding beauty in the mundane. For many of us we spend a lot of time on our way to somewhere else. While we may distract ourselves with various activities during this commute there is much beauty in the constantly changing show of lights and reflections.
Artist’s are typically self-critical and never completely satisfied with their own creations. Having said that I’m happy with this artwork – I’ve been working on perfecting the blur effect for some time and technically this piece represents a high water mark.
This artwork has a charcoal stained Tasmanian oak shadow frame with the framed dimensions of 64cm (w) x 64cm (h) x 5.5cm (d).
