Artwork Description

I found myself driving along the Snowy Mountains Highway between Cooma and Bega in NSW last month and felt inspired to create this artwork.

The Kosciuszko National Park is a 7000 square kilometre national park that contains Australia's highest peak, Mount Kosciuszko. The park is characterised by its mix of rugged mountains and unspoiled wilderness.

This painting captures the late afternoon haze and the atmospheric perspective of bush covered mountains receding into the distance.

This painting is ready to hang and has a stained Tasmanian oak shadow frame with the framed dimensions of 64 cm (w) x 49 cm (h) x 5.5cm (d). See additional images.
