In "The City Never Sleeps," I explore the dynamic energy of urban life through a scene of motorway traffic flowing into and out of the city at night. The blurred spheres of headlights and taillights, created using a bokeh light effect, symbolize the continuous movement and the pulse of the city that never rests.
For me, the urban environment is both a source of connection and isolation—a paradox that fuels my creativity. This painting is part of a broader series of urban landscapes where I invite viewers to find beauty in the overlooked details of city life, whether it’s the glow of streetlights reflected on wet pavement or the delicate pattern of raindrops on a window. Through this work, I aim to reveal the hidden beauty in the everyday scenes of our cities, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the world around us.
