This iconic Melbourne Hotel sits opposite the main entrance of the busy Flinders Street train station. This scene captures the moment after the pedestrian lights have changed colour and a mass of people swarmed across the road. Sharp lines and detail have been omitted in the process of applying layers of aerosol paint resulting in an image as if seen through squinting eyes or an unfocused camera.
This artwork has a stained Tasmanian oak shadow frame with the framed dimensions of 64cm (w) x 64cm (h) x 5.5cm (d).
