The work is float mounted on blue Chinese silk and framed in a gold timber frame featuring a decorative leaf motif.The artist Michael Simms stands in front of a creased fabric background with a thick black cable spilling out of his mouth. The cable appears to be connected to something out of frame. Halfway down the piece the drawing appears to fragment into a digital glitch, mirroring that of a scanned image which has been removed half way through scanning.
