Inflorescence is an abstract depiction of Spring cherry blossom, made up of approx. 1500 20x20mm, stained, varnished wood blocks of varying depths. It's been framed in a varnished 42mm x 12mm natural hardwood floating frame.

Deep tones, bright pinks and the natural shadows that the blocks cast on each other, this is a rich and complex texture. The image is made up primarily of the branches and blossom but some blue sky struggling to peek out on the left.

The piece is approx. 8kg and comes with the appropriate hanging hardware.
