Nalu Ha'i (English: Breaking Wave) is an abstract depiction made up of approx 2000 20x20mm, stained, varnished wood blocks of varying depths. It's been framed in a varnished 42mm x 12mm natural hardwood floating frame.

The piece is a gentle, toned-down abstract and suits a 'beachy' environment. I've had a few tries at piecing together a breaking wave image, but this is the only one that survived until completion and I'm pleased with the result!

The piece is approx 11kg and comes with a 'french cleat' hanging system on the back for easy hanging (all hardware and instructions included).
