An exploration of light playing across different materials: organic and inorganic and thus suggesting themes of permanence and transience and notions of giving and generosity.

Painted with somewhat looser brushwork the underpainting is allowed to permeate through and imbue the work with warmth and a sense of the light moving through the scene- again playing with the idea of time.
