Somewhere in between projects and jobs, I have been quietly working on a series of still life paintings. I see these compositions as an outlet for me, I know it is indulgent but the little time I do find to work on these is a motivating time where I can relax and paint for no reason other than to paint. I love the history of still life, and the idea of implying deep meaning and allegory into banal commonplace objects.
