Artwork Description

The use of crackle and texture techniques creates a sense of depth and movement that draws the viewer into the scene. From the intricate details of the reef and sea to the vibrant hues of blue and green, this painting perfectly captures the beauty and tranquility of the beach.

The crackling effect in the painting creates a unique and visually interesting texture, adding an extra layer of depth and dimension to the piece. The use of warm earthy tones in the reef and cool blues and greens in the sea creates a sense of balance and harmony, evoking the calming and peaceful feeling of the beach.

Artist Bio

Over recent years, my work has leaned toward impressionism, with a focus on landscapes and abstract imagery, alongside occasional portraiture. My paintings are now held in private collections both within Australia and overseas, a development I appreciate quietly as part of the journey rather than a destination in itself.
I work with a sense of freedom, painting what comes to mind with few constraints. My pieces are generally large in scale and created using high-quality materials, most often acrylics and oils, though I draw on a wide range of media where it suits the work.
I have a family and pursue, I believe, one’s innate proclivities with a very sound sense of responsibility and passion.
