My main subject in art photography is the ocean both at sunrise or sunset. The glow before the dawn creates silhouettes out of surfers in the water. This photograph was taken at Maroubra Beach during spring in September 2022 while swimming in the ocean. Prints are limited edition and printed on high-quality Matte Paper. The outside size is 24x36" (61x91 cm) including white borders. Frames shown are for illustration purpose only.

Hi! My name is Tomás Lomanto and I was born and raised in a tiny town in Argentina, I did my studies in Rosario, where I also received a degree in Industrial Design. At the same time, I started exploring analogue and later digital photography, taking classes and constantly improving my skills.

My desire for adventure led me to visit several countries in South America and Europe where I worked and studied. Those were ideal circumstances for the growth of this fascinating profession. When the possibility of settling in Australia arose, I did not hesitate for a moment and since 2019 I’ve been living in Sydney, close to the ocean, where I work and produce my photographic creations.

I define myself as an adventurous ocean photographer and that is what I intend to convey in each image.
