Climber unleashed

After visiting Western Australia in spring I journeyed into brilliant colour for a series of work inspired by plants.
The evolution of colour, texture and form in this state is unlike anywhere on earth.
It was an eye popping experience to see such an abundance and led me to develop paintings that celebrate plants and their pigments.
I have simplified and abstracted the artworks in my interpretation of floral diversity.
