Artist Bio

I'm a proud Palawa/Yorta Yorta woman, I grew up as ward of the state, I was ward of the state from 1992 till 2008 .
It was tough growing up without having my parents around and being split up from my siblings and unfortunately due to alot of things that happened in my childhood I really struggled with being able to connect with people or express myself,
At the age of 16 I was introduced to art therepy, which is what lead me to painting.
Painting really helped me be able to express myself alot and not only tell people but be able to show them my story the good and the bad ! I have been painting now for 13 years , in that period of time I have had the honour of being able to entre my artwork into art exhibitions and was able to sell some of my artwork , I have painted a mural at a secondary college and have also pushed myself to entre into a few art completions along with painted for a few organisations around central Victoria and melbourne.
I hope to get some of my work shared around to not only show off my work but to also connect with people whom have been through similar stories .
😊
