I work mainly with acrylic paints but also use oils, charcoal, oil markers and ink on canvas. The works are generally impressionist with references that relate to nature, natural textures and phenomena. The emphasis in this painting is on capturing light, color, and the fleeting effects of natural scenes rather than focusing on fine detail. My approach involved using bright, pure colours, broad brushstrokes and palette knife techniques to create a sense of movement and light.
