In recent years I have explored ideas in abstraction to represent both physical and psychological landscapes. The emphasis in this painting is on capturing light, color, and the fleeting effects of natural scenes rather than focusing on fine detail. My approach involved using bright, pure colours, broad brushstrokes and palette knife techniques to create a sense of movement and light.
