Artwork Description

Dale Diving is a limited edition fine art photograph from an ongoing coastal body of work exploring the relationship between the human form and the ocean. An athletic male figure dives into a breaking wave, his body briefly suspended between air and water.
The image captures a precise moment of movement and balance, where strength and fluidity merge. By framing the figure against the shifting energy of the sea, the photograph emphasises the sculptural qualities of the body while reflecting a broader meditation on immersion, timing, and the rhythms of the coastal environment.
