The canvas is first painted in shades of blue and black which sets the under tone and shadowing in the painting. Ive then applied multiple layers of impasto, glazing mediums with a palette knife and I use a 1 meter trowel. Layers in shades of fuchsia, fluro pink, orange and red to create the vibrant glow. Each layer is sanded in section that I wanted smooth and allowing to dry. A extra hint of orange and grey are the focal point of a horizon. Finished in Matt.
