Artwork Description

A large vibrant abstract expressionist piece with a dynamic composition of bold colors and energetic brushstrokes. It features a mix of deep blues, fiery oranges, bright yellows, and rich reds, creating a sense of movement and intensity. The use of splattering, streaking, and layering techniques gives the artwork a chaotic yet harmonious feel, resembling flowing energy, flames, or a turbulent ocean. The contrast between warm and cool colors enhances the visual impact, making it an engaging and immersive piece.
The artwork is paints to the edge , arrives as a rolled canvas with a satin UV sealer ready to hang.
Professional products of Matisse liquitex and golden have been used.

I’ve finish it with a satin UV sealer and the painting is painted to the edges ready for stretching at your local framer or thru bluethumb.

All professional products; golden, liquitex and Matisse

Artist Bio

Hi everyone, I work for my studio on the Gold Coast and I'm an an abstract expressionist artist also exploring some abstract figurative work which I enjoy.
Painting for me is like food, it nourishes the soul, has to be done every day with loads of variations, always seeking new concepts to create a broad base of ecliptic subject matter expressed in color.
I like the element of surprise with the composition planed to some degree yet still allowing spontaneous flow.
My process can be intensive with multiple layers creating depth and vibrancy, heavy textures, gestural brush strokes, palette knife and wet into wet applications that’s always exciting with unexpected color combinations.
Not all my work is bright, I also like earthy tones and the balancing of cool and warm hues with textural elements.
Ive explores a range of techniques which I’ve storing in my arsenal and the common thread thru my work would be colorful, bold, bespoke abstract  with impact and  texture.

Im happy to work with a collect to design a bespoke piece for their interior space, color scheme and I love LARGE SCALE ABSTRACT commissions, the larger the better.

I use a range of quality paint, Golden, Hydrocryl, Matisse, oil, Gamblins cold wax, oil stick and charcoals are used in my work, with a UV sealer or cold wax. Frames are custom made pine ;also I use Victorian Ash kiln dry on request - just a tad more expensive.
Quality 4 x primed poly pro cotton canvas and linen available on request.

Since 2016 I’ve been doing private commissions, participating at RQAS, Raw Events Gold Coast 2016 and bespoke artwork for Boutique apartments locally on the Gold Coast.

My inspiration for Judith Murray, Brian Rutenburg, Gustof Limt and Salvador Dali.
