I’ve started with the texture base of acrylic, mediums and large brush work before proceeding with oils and oil mediums.
Using a large pallet knife ladened with white oil, cold wax and galyyd gel to add textural elements and further reduce the the color elements of under painting. I wanted to push areas to the exterior and upwards with section in the center exposed.
Oils sticks have been rubbed, draw over details that I wanted to keep and make pop forward.

I’ve rub cold wax medium as a finish and buffed slightly, give a Matt finish.
If used poly pro 4 times primed canvas which is ideal for warmer climates.
