Whitehaven

Many will guess the location of this viewpoint, as it's a famous tourist destination on the east coast of Queensland. Looking across from Hill Inlet to gaze on the dazzling white sands of Whitehaven Beach. the sand is about 98% pure silica and extends for over 7km.
We've been there a few times and when we flew over in a helicopter on our way back from Heart Reef, I just know I had to capture the beauty of this scene on a canvas. Painting this brought me so much joy, I hope you can see this on your wall to bring you joy too.

Tracey has always been creative from a very young age and recently she has found a desire to pick up a brush and produce art.

A self taught artist inspired by the beautiful world around her, Tracey loves to capture the essence of nature. She paints with an eclectic style, drawing from a broad and diverse range of sources, and this includes the media she uses, varying between oils, watercolours and mixed media. It also extends to her subject matter, though mostly influence by the beauty of nature.
There is so much to love about nature that each art piece is infused with that love, to create joy and happiness that you can bring into your personal space.

Salty Splash Studio is named after Tracey’s ‘happy place’, the beach. Being near water really is what grounds and replenishes her energy. Luckily, she lives on the beautiful east coast of Australia, with access to the long stretches of sandy beaches on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
