My artistic journey began in the 1990’s with a general interest in Folk and Decorative Art, which provided me with a solid grounding in decorative art techniques and, in particular, the use of acrylics.
I have always dabbled, but have only had the opportunity to pursue art full time in the past 6 years, when my focus began to evolve toward a more contemporary style. Growing up in Sydney and now based on the Sunshine Coast, I find inspiration in all that is Australia - from the surf beaches and reefs, to the outback and the rainforests.
I don't believe in limiting myself to one medium or style. While I still work mainly in acrylics, I love playing with watercolour and pastels and am always learning and experimenting with different mediums, such as texture and pouring mediums.
