Dreamy Dahlia

This beautiful Dahlia painting would be a perfect addition to a bedroom with its pale and relaxing colours, or equally a living room. I love the pale yellow touches in this mainly white bloom. The natural beauty of flowers always inspire me. I work in very thin layers of oils and glazes, blending colours seamlessly creating a luminous appearance.

Tracey Hall won her first art competition at the age of 8 but raising a family has taken up most of her time until recently. Primarily self-taught, she began painting brides’ bouquets as an everlasting wedding memento in 2013.

Tracey specialises in realistic, intricate and detailed artworks of glorious blooms and natural subjects so painting bouquets seemed a natural fit. Immediately the feedback from florists working in the wedding industry was very positive as they saw this service as an alternative to having flowers preserved.

The intricate layers in her paintings create a maze for the eye and capture the viewers’ interest again and again. Tracey loves colour and the natural world is often a riot of colour and is a constant inspiration.
