My photographic journey has been both interesting and diverse. My working background has been art based and I have been able to utilise areas of this into my photography. I live in a coastal area in Queensland and a lot of my work has been influenced by this - I love the ocean and it’s beaches and my easy access to these areas shows in a lot of my work. I also have an interest in experimenting with different aspects of this art form ie. composite work…this area of work fulfils my creative needs and is an area that requires a constant learning experience which answers my quest for diversity in my work. My camera travels with me wherever I go so again, I am not just grounded in coastal images…I am also drawn to street photography, architectural based photography and rural landscapes…which again, appeals to diversity in my images.
