This painting was loosely based on a horse going over a very high jump at a Cross Country event. I loved the movement and it appeared to be rearing. The horse made it over the jump! I often paint in unusual colours and like to give a strong impression of the subject rather than a literal rendition. This work is imposing and would stand out in any room.
Clear gloss coated acrylic. Comes with a matt board already attached. Measurements including matt are 64cm x 76.5cm. Unframed.
