Artwork Description

Part of my 'Abandoned Spoon' series, this version is painted in a more abstract style featuring cross hatch brush strokes and cold wax medium to provide a textured effect.

The subject of this bold painting is the all too common scene at most Awards, Black Tie or Gala dinners... ‘No dessert or coffee for me please... just bring more wine’ :-)

The colours featured on the spoon and tablecloth are the reflections of the vibrant pink and blue event lighting of an Awards night held in Brisbane, Qld. The paintings is this series are based off an original photo taken by the artist in 2018.

Can be supplied rolled in a tube or stretched onto Canvas frame.
